What’s a good conversion rate for your upsells?

There are certainly factors that go into that answer like price, cost of goods, warm or cold traffic, etc…

But in the back of my mind I’m usually trying to hit 50%. If half of the people who buy product A, also buy product B in a one click upsell…that’s a win.

It may not always be realistic and in those cases, you always have something to aim for.

But what if you had an upsell that was converting at 95%? Sound far fetched?

I admit, I had to run the numbers on this a few times just to make sure I wasn’t missing anything. But it’s real.

So I want to share it with you because I think it’s something you can copy.

This is an upsell I worked on several months ago for a friend/client. It’s for a health product but that’s not terribly important.
